WHAT WE DO
We organise walks in the different scenic areas of Sydney to build synergy between communities. The walks give an opportunity for people who live locally and people with refugee experience to meet for a walk and talk increasing empathy and strengthening the community. We make the connections and run the events so that they are open and accessible to everyone. In our first 3 years, we completed 17 successful walks across Sydney, connecting more than 1,100 people and proudly supporting people with refugee experience resettle in our communities.
Why One Step?
Because we want to create bridges between the different cultures in our community. We want to connect people to increase mutual empathy and build strong and inclusive communities. Be a part of this growing community and join us for a walk and talk!
